Bed and Breakfast "Il ceraseto"

Welcome at Stefano and Marilena's.

Our house is in the Regional Park of "Abbazia di Monteveglio", an environmentally protected area.

The house is built on a small rock and from its big terrace you can enjoy the amazing view on the typical "calanchi" and colorful vineyards. From the gate on the main road you can reach the house by a small road crossing the wood.

Surrounding the house there are 120 cherry trees blossoming with white flowers in the springtime. You can also take a walk along a wild path among the olive trees. In the wood you can hear the voice of many animals: pheasants, nightingales, blackbirds, owls, wild boars and roe-bucks.

In the B&B there are three large double rooms with two windows and a private bathroom. On the ground floor there is a small kitchen and a breakfast room where guests can have breakfast. We usually offer fresh fruits, home made cakes and bread, marmelade and a variety of diary products. If the weather is sunny, you can have breakfast on the big panoramic terrace. In winter we have breakfast in the dining room with fireplace.

The presence of the kitchen allows guests who prefer to prepare their own breakfast without time constraints, using fresh foods available. Alternatively, the breakfast will be prepared by the owners and served to guests. They are available with a microwave and a high chair for children. Smoking it's not allowed inside, but you can smoke outside.

The location is very quiet and peaceful , perfect for relaxing and enjoying silence.
Stefano and Marilena live in a part of the same big house, so they can welcome guests anytime and give them informations about interesting sights and hiking paths, some of which run directly from the house; even the nearby Abbey is within walking distance. If you need, there is a parking in front of the house.
